QA for Beginners

 QA for Beginners

Everything you need to start with Quality Assurance in construction

🟦 Course Introduction
Welcome to QA for Beginners, your practical introduction to Quality Assurance in the construction industry.
This course is designed for anyone starting their journey in construction QA — whether you have some experience or none at all. Our goal is to help you understand essential QA principles, tools, and practices in a simple, clear, and actionable way.
Throughout this course, you will learn:
•    The difference between Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC)
•    How to read and use ITPs (Inspection Test Plans)
•    What to look for during site inspections
•    The basics of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
•    How to build a mindset of continuous improvement
Each module includes practical examples, real-life scenarios, and downloadable resources to help you apply what you learn directly on the job.
Let’s get started — and by the end of this course, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to support and improve quality on any construction site.

Anchor 2- QA for Subcontractors
QQA for Subcontractors

This course was created with one clear goal: To help subcontractor companies understand and apply the most important Quality Assurance (QA) principles required in modern construction projects.
Whether your team has 5 workers or 100, if you’re installing, sealing, fixing, cutting, lifting or finishing — you are part of the final quality of the project. And no matter how big or small the company is, the expectations from contractors and clients remain the same.
In recent years, many subcontractor teams have faced the same challenge:                                                                   “We do the work. But when it comes to proving it, documenting it, or handing it over... we're stuck.”
That’s because working under ISO 9001 quality management systems or contractor-specific QA procedures can feel overwhelming — especially if you’ve never been trained in them.

So why this course?

We’ve built this training to explain the QA process in the simplest, most practical way possible.
You won’t find corporate jargon or long theories here.
Instead, you’ll learn:
- What quality means in practice on-site
- What steps subcontractors must follow (regardless of company size)
- How inspections work
- How to document what you did
- And how to hand over your work with confidence and full traceability
All these are explained step by step, in plain language, with real examples from actual projects.
From the first anchor bolt to the final door installed — QA is part of your work. We’re just here to show you how to make it simple, professional and respected.

Who is this course for?

If you’re working under a main contractor and:
- You’ve been asked to “follow the ITP”
- You don’t know what counts as QA evidence
- You’ve been told to use a digital platform like Field View
- You’ve had work rejected for “poor documentation”
Then this course is for you.

Throughout the course, we’ll be honest, friendly, and focused.
We’ll explain every concept, every term, and every tool.
By the end, you’ll be ready to bring QA into your daily routine — and become the kind of subcontractor every main contractor wants on site.
